The Land Disputes Tribunal exceeded its statutory jurisdiction by ordering the redemarcation and realignment of land parcels, which involved altering the registry map and assigning new parcel numbers. Such powers are exclusively vested in the Land Registrar under sections 19(1) and 26(1) of the Registered Land Act, and only with the written consent of all affected proprietors. The applicant, Damaris Kanuthu Kangethe, was neither a party to the proceedings before the Tribunal nor given an opportunity to be heard, and her consent was not obtained.
