The outgoing advocate's remedy for unpaid fees is to pursue taxation or enforcement of any agreement, not to block the change of advocates. The court found that imposing a requirement for payment or undertaking as a precondition for change of advocates would unjustly hold the client to ransom and undermine the administration of justice.
