The Supreme Court's Muruatetu guidelines on resentencing apply exclusively to murder cases under sections 203 and 204 of the Penal Code and do not extend to robbery with violence under section 296(2). The applicant's withdrawal of his Court of Appeal appeal does not confer jurisdiction on the High Court to entertain a resentencing application in these circumstances.
