The 1st defendant, with the aid of the 4th defendant, fraudulently procured allocation and registration of the property in his name, contrary to the law and without proper authority. The Commissioner of Lands had no power to alienate the property, and the process leading to the issuance of the title was irregular and void ab initio. Consequently, the 1st defendant never acquired a good title and could not transfer any valid interest to the 2nd defendant.
