The 1st and 2nd Defendants acquired their title from a person who impersonated the Plaintiff, and the evidence did not show the Plaintiff's involvement in the fraudulent transaction. The Plaintiff's original title was never cancelled or revoked, and the Defendants failed to challenge its authenticity. Under Section 26(1) of the Land Registration Act, the Defendants' title, having been acquired un-procedurally and through fraud by an imposter, was impeachable even if the Defendants were innocent purchasers.
