There was no evidence of a trust or that the property was held under customary law prior to registration. The Registered Land Act conferred absolute ownership on the 1st defendant, entitling him to deal with the property as he wished. The plaintiffs' claim for equal distribution based on alleged ancestral status and trust was therefore unfounded.
