The High Court lacks jurisdiction to hear and determine appeals relating to employment and labour relations matters, as such jurisdiction is exclusively vested in the Employment and Labour Relations Court by Article 162(2) of the Constitution. The appeal and all applications arising therefrom are a nullity ab initio. The court cannot transfer or entertain the matter, and any orders issued in furtherance of the appeal are equally void. The file is accordingly struck out and closed.
