The 2nd Defendant was negligent in failing to place restrictions or warn of pending litigation, and is liable to indemnify the Plaintiff for the purchase price, stamp duty, and damages. The 6th, 7th, and 8th Defendants are also liable for damages. The 3rd Defendant must render accounts but is not otherwise liable. The Plaintiff is not entitled to compensation based on subsequent market value but is entitled to a refund of the purchase price and related costs.
