Payments made by the Plaintiff to the auctioneer did not discharge his obligation to the decree holders unless the court so directed or the payment was made directly to the decree holders. The Plaintiff's issuance of blank cheques to the auctioneer, and subsequent payment to another auctioneer, did not satisfy the decree as against the 4th and 5th Defendants.
