Judgment
1. In their Originating summons dated 29th August 2024 the Applicants are seeking orders that:0(a)They be authorised to adopt Baby Damaris Bachiri a minor who is to be known as Samuel Sandiri Bogonko and the Registrar General be directed to enter this into the Register of Adoptions.(b)Margaret Rose Sandiri be appointed as the legal guardian of the child.(c)The child be presumed to be born in Kenya
2. The application is based on the statements as well as the Applicant’s affidavits in support of the application.
3. The court on 17th September 2024 directed that a report be prepared by the Director of Children’s Services.
4. The same is on record and is dated 24th October 2024 and it is positive.
5. The court on 5th June 2025 was able to interview the parties online and able to see the minor. They all understood their responsibilities and obligations.
6. Based on the paper trail from various agencies on record this court is satisfied that the application is merited and the same is hereby allowed as prayed.
7. Scholasticak Munee Kivuva is hereby discharged from being guardian ad litem.
8. Costs in the cause.
