Section 81 of the Act is self-executing, vesting all powers and duties in the surviving administrator(s). The death of Charles Kiriinya Rimbere did not create a vacuum in the administration of the estate, as the respondent, being the surviving co-administrator, was empowered to continue with the administration. The application for substitution was therefore not merited, as it was not contemplated by law and would only serve to delay the conclusion of the matter.
