Monica Muthoni Kahuho was not a holder of a grant of representation and therefore lacked locus standi to apply for confirmation under Section 71 of the Law of Succession Act. The application by Stephen Ngigi Kamau was also incompetent because the grant he sought to confirm was made by the Kiambu SRMCSC, not by the High Court in this cause. The High Court could only confirm a grant made in its own cause, not one made by another court.
