Both competing proposals for distribution generally agreed on equal sharing of the estate, regardless of gender, in line with Article 27 of the Constitution and Section 40 of the Law of Succession Act. The court adopted the more comprehensive proposal by Antony Simiyu, which covered all properties and provided for equal distribution. The court also allowed the house of Matilda to hold their portion as a block and permitted beneficiaries to make further local arrangements...
