The Law of Succession Act recognizes all biological children, regardless of the circumstances of their birth, as dependants entitled to a share of the estate. The court held that the Respondents, whose parentage was not in dispute, would not suffer prejudice from the DNA process, and that scientific testing was the only reliable method available to determine the Applicants' claims.
