IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICTAION FOR THE ADOPTION OF: L.Z – MINOR
JUDGMENT
The application dated 23rd May 2011 came for hearing on 24th October 2011. The same is praying for:-
(a)The applicant Ms E.J.K.A be authorized to adopt baby girl L.Z.
(b)The Registrar General to make in the adapted Children Register an entry recording the adoption in accordance with particulars as shall be set out in the adoption order.
(c)Costs of the application be in the cause.
At the time of hearing both the applicant and the subject were present in court.
I have perused the relevant documents filed in compliance with part XI of the Children’s Act. I have also perused the report by the District Children’s Officer through the Ministry of Gender, Children, and social Development dated 22nd September 2011. I have further read the affidavit of Lennah Oluoch and the report from Little Angels Network.
All the relevant agencies have been consulted and I therefore grant the prayer as prayed for in the applicant’s application dated 23rd May 2011. Costs in the cause.
