The court found that the Land Dispute Tribunal lacked jurisdiction to determine issues of ownership or title to registered land, as its mandate is limited to boundaries, occupation, and trespass. The applicant was the absolute registered proprietor of the land in question since 1974, and no fraud was established in his registration. The tribunal's award of one acre to the interested party amounted to an unlawful interference with registered title. The adoption of the tribunal's award by the magistrate's court was therefore also without jurisdiction.
