However, the trial court erred in calculating loss of earning capacity by applying a multiplier of 24 years instead of 16 years, given the Respondent's age of 44 at the time of the accident and the statutory retirement age of 60. The court also found that the correct degree of permanent disability should be 30%, based on the medical evidence.
