Upon review of the medical evidence and comparable case law, the court determined that a lower award was appropriate. The court also found that the future medical expenses awarded were not justified at the level set by the trial court, given the lack of evidence of blood blockage and the differing medical opinions on the necessity and cost of future treatment.
