In the last term of employment, the Claimant was summarily dismissed without being given notice to show cause or subjected to a disciplinary hearing, and the reasons for dismissal were unsubstantiated. The Respondent's conduct amounted to unfair labour practices and the summary dismissal was not for a valid reason nor effected through a fair procedure, contrary to Sections 43 and 45 of the Employment Act, 2007.
