Service of such notice could not be validated by subsequent appointment of administrators. Although the deceased's indebtedness was not disputed, the defendant's statutory power of sale could only be exercised after valid service of a statutory notice. The plaintiffs established a prima facie case regarding the invalidity of the notice but not as to the absence of debt.
