In the application the Applicant prays that the date of birth of the subject minor child be amended and or corrected to read 28th June, 2019. 2.The application is based on the grounds on the face of it and supported by the annexed Jesca Getanda, the applicant. 3.In her affidavit the applicant avers that the adoption order given on 9th December, 2025 indicates the minor’s date of birth is 10th June, 2019 whereas the correct date of birth is on the 28th June, 2019. Annexed copy of birth certificate marked (“JG 1”). 4.The court has perused a copy of the birth certificate of subject minor herein AM and the same indicates that she was born on 28th June, 2019. It is, therefore, the court findings that the applicant’s application has merit. 5.The court order issued on 9th December, 2025 shall accordingly be amended to indicate the minor was born on 28th June, 2019. 6.Costs shall be in the cause.
