The employment contracts did not entitle the respondent to summarily dismiss the claimants for poor performance without notice, and the claimants were not given a hearing as required by law. The summary dismissal was therefore both a breach of contract and an unfair termination under the Employment Act. The claimants were entitled to three months' salary in lieu of notice.
