There was no agreement or legal basis for requiring Co-operative Bank to apply treasury bill rates or any rate other than its prevailing fixed deposit rate. The Bank applied a 3% interest rate, and the Defendant failed to establish any contractual, statutory, or customary obligation for a higher rate. Consequently, there was no basis to order an audit of the account or to hold the Plaintiff or Co-operative Bank liable...
