Although the sale transaction became void for lack of Land Control Board consent after six months, the Plaintiff's continued possession from January 1988 was adverse to the interests of the registered owner. The Defendant's subsequent registration as owner in 1997 did not interrupt the running of time, as the Plaintiff remained in open, continuous, and exclusive possession.
