The court found that the applicant's claim relates to a distinct portion of land (Plot C) that is not the subject of the current suit, and that the plaintiffs' case has already been heard and closed. Allowing the applicant to be joined at this stage would create confusion and would not assist in the just determination of the dispute between the existing parties. The applicant's fears of adverse orders are unfounded, as the court cannot issue orders affecting land not in dispute.
