The court found that the plaintiffs entered into possession of the suit land in 1987 after purchasing 3 acres each from the defendant's predecessor. Although they initially entered with the consent of the seller, the statutory period for adverse possession could only begin to run once the seller became the registered owner on 30.7.1991. From that date, the plaintiffs' possession was open, notorious, exclusive, and uninterrupted. The defendant admitted the plaintiffs' occupation and did not oppose the claim. There was no evidence of interruption or assertion of rights by the registered owner or his legal representative. By the time the suit was filed in 2019, more than 12 years had elapsed...
