The Court held that Rule 75 of the Court of Appeal Rules, which prescribes a fourteen-day period for filing a notice of appeal, does not apply to notices of cross-appeal. Instead, Rule 93 provides a complete and distinct procedure for cross-appeals, including the timeline for filing. Under Rule 93(2), a notice of cross-appeal must be lodged not more than thirty days after service of the memorandum and record of appeal or not less than thirty days before the hearing of the appeal, whichever is later.
