The Plaintiffs and their predecessors entered the suit lands in the 1950s and 1960s pursuant to purchase and have since been in open, exclusive, and uninterrupted possession for over 55 years. Their occupation was notorious, without the permission of the registered owner, and to the exclusion of the Defendants, who are administrators of the deceased owner's estate. The Defendants' right to recover the land was extinguished by operation of the Limitation of Actions Act, as more than 12 years had elapsed since the Plaintiffs' entry and occupation.
