The evidence, including affidavits and the tenant's own statement, established that the rent was mutually increased to Kshs. 130,000 per month from May 2017, and the tenant paid this amount without protest until the dispute arose over a further proposed increment to Kshs. 200,000, which was never agreed or paid.
