Legal Issues
- 1 Whether the respondent has fully settled the claimants' terminal dues as per the court's earlier judgment.
- 2 Whether the amounts presented by the claimant and respondent reconcile, and what final awards are due to each claimant.
Ratio Decidendi
The court, having compared the accounts presented by the claimant and the clearance/payment forms submitted by the respondent, determined the precise outstanding amounts due to each claimant. The court's decision was guided by the need to enforce its earlier judgment, ensure compliance with statutory and constitutional mandates for access to justice, and facilitate the expeditious resolution of the dispute. The court issued final orders specifying the exact sums payable to each claimant, thereby conclusively settling the matter of terminal dues in accordance with the law and the evidence presented.
