The Respondents, not having obtained such authority, lack locus standi to be enjoined as Defendants in substitution of the deceased parties. The Applicant's motion for joinder was therefore incompetent, as it sought to substitute parties without compliance with the requirements of the Law of Succession Act and the Civil Procedure Rules.
