The High Court held that it was functus officio regarding the orders made on 16th May 2024 and 19th September 2024, having already rendered final decisions on those matters. The issues raised in the present application had already been conclusively determined in the ruling of 13th February 2025, rendering the application res judicata. The court further found that the order appealed against (dismissal of an application) was a negative order, incapable of being stayed except as to costs. The applicants had not appealed the substantive judgment or the ruling of 19th September 2024, and the present application was an improper attempt to obtain a stay of those orders through indirect means....
