The Plaintiff's occupation prior to 2005 was on Government or Trust land, against which adverse possession cannot run. The statutory period could only begin in 2005 when the Defendants became registered proprietors. By the time of suit in 2012, only seven years had elapsed, insufficient for adverse possession. The Plaintiff did not produce any documentary evidence of allotment or continuous occupation, and the evidence showed that the Defendants were given vacant possession in 2005.
