The Tribunal found that although the respondent disputes the applicant's status as tenant and alleges forgery of the lease, the applicant's possession of the premises is not denied. The evidence shows the applicant has been carrying on business at the premises since October 2020. The authenticity of the rival lease agreements and the true identity of the tenant (whether the applicant or her husband) cannot be conclusively determined at this interlocutory stage and must await a full hearing.
