The delay in requesting a copy of the judgment and in filing the application was not adequately explained, and the applicant could not shift blame to the court for delays largely attributable to their own conduct. As the statutory period for appeal had long lapsed and no good cause was advanced, the court exercised its discretion to refuse extension of time.
