The Defendants did not take any steps to dispossess the Plaintiff or assert their rights within the statutory period. The Plaintiff's possession was adverse to the Defendants' title, and the Defendants' title was extinguished by operation of law after 12 years of such possession under the Limitation of Actions Act.
