The tribunal found that the parties had entered into a binding agreement on 7th December 2022, mediated by the area chief, which resolved the dispute regarding the construction and occupation of the premises. The agreement stipulated that the landlord would take over the newly constructed rooms while the tenant would retain the front part of the building for her business. The landlord agreed to waive rent during the construction period, and the tenant was to resume paying rent from November 2023. The tribunal saw no justification for the tenant's attempt to renege on the agreement and found the landlord had acted reasonably by allowing the tenant continued possession and waiving rent....
