The transfer form in the record did not show a transfer to the appellant, and there was no evidence of subsequent registration in his name. Section 8 of the Traffic Act presumes the registered owner is the legal owner unless the contrary is proved, but the appellant did not provide sufficient evidence to rebut this presumption.
