The Employment and Labour Relations Court (Procedure) Rules are silent on extension of time, but Section 79G of the Civil Procedure Act allows for extension if good and sufficient cause is shown. Given the absence of evidence from either party regarding the lower court proceedings and in the interest of justice, the court exercised its discretion to grant leave to appeal out of time.
