The appellant pleaded guilty to all charges, did not waste the court's time, and some of the stolen livestock were recovered. In these circumstances, the imposition of consecutive sentences was deemed excessive. The court held that a concurrent sentence would be adequate punishment, balancing the seriousness of the offences with the mitigating factors.
