Ruling
1. This file was opened for purposes of considering whether the convict Flandina Kanana Mwenda is suitable for consideration of his sentence review in the spirit of prison decongestion pursuant to the Chief Justice Memo dated 7th December 2022.
2. The applicant was convicted of the offence of possession of stealing contrary to section 268(1) as read with section 275 of the Penal Code. He was sentenced to pay a fine of Kshs. 20,000 in default to serve four (4) months imprisonment.
3. The file was availed to me when the inmate had completed the sentence.
4. File closed and returned to the lower court.
Orders accordingly.
