Although the delay of one month and twenty-five days was not inordinate, the applicants did not demonstrate that the delay was caused by circumstances beyond their control or that they made diligent efforts to obtain the judgment. The evidence showed that the applicants' advocates were served with the judgment on 27th February 2024, giving them adequate time to file an appeal within the statutory period.
