There was no evidence of proper notice to the Labour Officer or the Claimant, nor of meaningful consultation or communication regarding the redundancy. The Respondent did not produce evidence to substantiate the operational need for redundancy, such as the taskforce report. Consequently, the redundancy was unprocedural and the termination unfair. The Claimant was entitled to compensation for unfair termination, the balance of terminal dues, and supervision fees for five students, as he produced appointment letters....
