The Tribunal found that there was no landlord-tenant relationship between the Applicant and the named Respondent, as the tenancy agreement was between the Applicant and different parties (Ahmed Salim Karama and Ali Salim Karama). The Applicant failed to provide evidence of any tenancy or payment of rent deposit to the Respondent. Since the relationship required by the Landlord and Tenant (Shops, Hotels and Catering Establishments) Act did not exist, the Tribunal lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
