Disputes over the amount owed do not justify restraining the bank from exercising its statutory power of sale. Critically, the suit property had already been sold to third parties at public auction before the application was filed, extinguishing the plaintiffs' right of redemption. Section 99 of the Land Act, 2012, protects purchasers at such sales and bars the court from granting an injunction to set aside the sale, confining the plaintiffs' remedy to damages.
