Tribunal Reference / Ruling on Interlocutory Application

Court Disposition

Tenant's application upheld with conditions for payment of arrears.

Orders

  • The tenant shall pay rent arrears of Kshs.40,000 and electricity arrears of Kshs.53,163 within three months in equal installments of Kshs.31,054 per month, in addition to the monthly rent of Kshs.20,000.
  • Failure to pay any installment entitles the landlady to distress for the whole rent and immediate vacant possession.
