The court found that the agreement for sale of the suit land between Andrew Osundwa and Francis Buluma, dated 9th May 1983, was valid and properly attested by an advocate, and that the requirements of the law applicable at the time were met. The evidence showed that Francis Buluma paid the purchase price, including settling the outstanding loan to AFC, and took possession of the land. The plaintiff's subsequent acquisition of title through succession was tainted by misrepresentation, as she failed to disclose the sale and the defendants' occupation.
