However, interest on the taxed costs does not accrue from the date of filing the bill of costs, but from the date of certification of costs by the taxing officer. The court interpreted Rule 7 of the Advocates Remuneration Order to mean that interest becomes chargeable only upon taxation and certification of the costs, not from the date of filing for taxation.
