Section 51(2) of the Advocates Act entitles the advocate to judgment on the certificate of taxation in such circumstances. Furthermore, Rule 7 of the Advocates Remuneration Order entitles the advocate to interest at 14% per annum from 30 days after delivery of the bill to the client, which in this case was 3rd June 2019.
