The court found that the Plaintiff's initial entry onto the suit land in 2000 was with the permission of the registered owner and his family, and thus time for adverse possession could not begin to run at that point. The Plaintiff's occupation was not continuous, as there were periods when he was not in possession, and his use of the land was interrupted. The evidence showed that after 2003, the Plaintiff ceased using the land until 2006, and even then, his occupation did not extend for 12 continuous years before the suit was filed in 2012. Furthermore, the Plaintiff's possession ended in 2011 when his son, who was in actual possession, ceased using the land following a court order....
